Become a member

We provide membership options for those actively working in the industry through our Full membership category, membership for students in their second year through our Associate category, and for those who no longer work or require insurance coverage through our Inactive category.

To become a member of the Association the following qualifications must be met:

  • Be a graduate of a recognized massage therapy program meeting the minimum hour requirements (or a student of a recognized program)
  • Provide a Vulnerable Sector Check completed within 90 days of applying.
  • Is responsible for behaving in accordance with the bylaws and objectives of the Association
  • Pay in advance all membership fees as required
  • Maintain continuing education credits as required
  • Maintain insurance coverage as required
